Launch of a new VW Camper Van Blog - vwcampervanblog.com

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new VWCamperVanBlog.com. Being a VW Camper Van Owner myself ( as well as a graphic designer ) I have decided to set up this blog to provide informatative and entertaining content about VW Camper Vans and Vw Buses. The idea is to build a community of VW Van owners who will provide articles to be published on the website.

I have owned my T25 for just over three years and have been surprised by the lack of blogs there are on this subject. I have come across a few that I regularly log on to ( Club 80 90 / The Just Kampers Forum / The Brick Yard ) but I have not found very many VW blogs.

We are looking for contributers to write camper van related articles for us all to enjoy. Get involved with the community and supply some articles, reviews or stories. Below are a few ways you can become a contributer:

Readers Rides

Readers rides will be a regular feature in which you get to show off your pride and joy. We are looking for all types of vans from Classic Splits Screens and Bays to the more modern T25, T4 and T5. Whether heavily modified or completely original, we want to see them.

To submit your VW Van or Camper Van, simply email us at writeforus@vwcampervanblog.com and supply the following information about your van:

Model: Split Screen / Bay Window / Type 25 / T4 / T5

Year: The year the van was manufactured

Colour: Black, Green, Pink or Blue ( you get the idea! )

Engine: What cc / Petrol / Diesel

Camper Conversion ( if applicable ): Autosleeper / Westfalia / Komet

About the van: The story behind you and your camper van. When you got it, what you have done to it, where you have used it - anything you think we would find interesting really!

Restoration Projects

Have you recently started a restoration project on your van? If so, we are looking for regular articles about your project. Take lots of photos and keep a record of what you have done and send it to us. You can help other Camper Van owners with their restoration projects by outlining yours.

Or have you recently completed your restoration project. Send us before and after photos and we will publish them right here!

Tutorial and Tips

Have you recently lowered your van? Or have you completed some re-panelling work? Or have you re-upholstered your campers interior? If so then we are looking for you. We are after any camper van owners who regularly complete DIY work on your vehicle to write some tutorials for us to publish here on the blog. The tutorials can be about any aspect of the upkeep of your camper van so if you have any ideas, please get in touch.

Campsite Reviews

We are looking to build up a great set of reviews written by you, the VW Camper Van Owner. Have you recently been camping on a site you thought was outstanding? Or perhaps you have been unlucky enough to visit a campsite you wouldn’t want anyone else to visit! Either way, get in touch and get involved.

Amazing Journeys

You know the ones. The sort of trips you read about in the VW Bus Magazines that we all wish we could go on. Well, if your lucky enough to have been on an amazing journey in your VW Camper Van then please let us know. We would love to read about your travels.

…and anything else you can think of?

The VW Camper Van Blog was set up to provide useful information that appeals to the owners of VW Vans. So if you have any ideas on what would be good to feature on the site, or if you have any suggestions for the website in genereal then please let us know.
